The development of Minecraft!

       Minecraft has developed over the years and is now at this stage where Redstone can be compared to mods (which are used to create Minecraft EDU). Even though features are the main part the game, it also runs much faster and in 1.8.1 then the old 1.6.4 where Minecraft EDU is played on. I know that it is hard to update mods, but the game have been out there for a while now and nothing have really happened since the update to 1.6.4, but enough of that. My main point is that you might be able to create the same features or even better things with the new Game. Which means more learning and easier to set up servers to kids to do their HW on. 

      My mission is to re-create Minecraft EDU and more features with no mods! Easier to install and even more fun for the students. The thing is that maybe you don't need so many features to the game if you are just starting off by exploring the beautifully world made of blocks, BUT... After, maybe only a few months, and the students have done most of it and the game is getting boring, that is when the new features of the real game comes in to play, because the mods may help someone who is new to Minecraft, but not the rest of the year! That is all I have to say to that now let me get back to my re-creation of Minecraft EDU. ;D

Minecraft Animating

Many people have been asking me about Minecraft Animations. So here is a few questions with answers. I hope it will help!

What Animation software do I use?
 -Well i use Blender, it is a great tool for detailed Animations and the best part is that it is a 100% free.

How long does it take to animate an image or a 5 minute long video?
 -Well it really depends on how detailed you want you animation, you could make a sloppy not that great quality image in about 20 minutes, but if you want to make a better one with details and good quality it could take up to 1 month for just a 5 minute video.

Is it easy to animate Minecraft images?
 -If you are new to blender it can be fairly hard to start animating big things, but if you use it in a few months it will probably be an easy thing to make for example an item or a block. Minecraft is a really great thing to start animating because most things in Minecraft are squared which makes it easier to make.

Paint in Minecraft!

Your bow is your brush.

So, you shoot the arrow where you want it to paint and it will fill it with whatever bow you chose.

COW MACHINE!

Hey guys, AlexanderBMJ here and today I will show you guys a cool thing I made.

I call it the COW MACHINE. The purpose of this machine is to turn any player in to a cow.


                                 This is how it looks at the front of the machine.
                                 This is how it looks inside.
                                 If you look up you will see a green laser.
                               
                                 You stand on the glass block like this.
                                 You then click the STONE button.
                                 Then you will see a lot of particles.
                                 After a ten seconds or so there the laser will turn on.
                                 Then POOF YOU ARE NOW A COW!
                                 You can walk around like normal but now as a cow.

                                 Now let's look at the Redstone!
                                 When you press the button it gives a Redstone signal.
                                 It goes in to this Command Block.
                                 It just places a Redstone block...
                                 Right here.
                               
                                 This will will activate the Command Block the makes the particles.
                                 After a few seconds it activates this Command Block
                                 This just places a Redstone Block...
                                 Right here...
                                 This will make the green laser.
                                 The last three Command Blocks just removes the Redstone blocks.

                                  So all the particles stop.
                                 This Command Block sets a Redstone Block...
                                 Right here...
 
                                 This is a super fast Redstone Clock.
                                 This piston stops from activating these Command blocks
                         But when the Redstone block is placed it summons a Cow named Player
                               And activates this Command Block, it Teleports any cow named                                     Player to you. With the super clock it does that many times a second.
   This Command Block gives you an invisibility 
effect so it looks like you are the cow
                                This one clears your inventory so you can't see what you are                                           holding. because when you are invisible you can still see what you                                   are holding in your hand.

Hi guys, AlexanderBMJ here, and today I will show you how to make a portal (in vanilla Minecraft or Minecraft without any mods) that will teleport you anywhere you want! This only uses a One Command block. This will be a step by step tutorial.
This will require to put cheats to "on", or to be op-ed on a server and to be in Creative mode. You could use this in for example: a server or adventure map.

Step 1: Get the special block.
Go in to the chat by pressing "T" on your keyboard.
Then you will need to get the command block.
Type "/give @p 137" and hit enter. If this does not work try "/give @p minecraft:command_block".
"/ " means you are using a command.
This just gives you the command block.

Step 2: The Command.
Place the command block on the ground.
(Command blocks get activated by Redstone.)
Now right click the command block.

TIP:
@p : Test for the nearest player to the command block.
@a : Test for all players on the server or LAN world. (If you are playing Singleplayer this will only find you.)
@r : Test for a random player on the sever or LAN world. (again this will only find you in SinglePlayer.)

In the black box type "/tp @p[r=3] ---------"
Hit done.
This means "Teleport nearest player that is 3 blocks from the command block to ---------.
The "-------" is where you put your coordinates. go to step 3 to see how you find the coordinates.

Step 3: Where do you want it to be Teleported to?
Find the place that you want to Teleport to. This won't work in other dimensions!
Stand right where you want to be Teleported to and press the "F3" key on your keyboard. If this does not work try hold the "Fn" button and at the same time press the "F3" key. You should see a lot of numbers.
Use these numbers:
X: -----.---
Y: -----.---
Z: -----.---
The ---- means there should be a number there.
Only look at the whole number, don't copy the numbers after the dot.

If it does not look like this? what about this.
X,Y,Z : ----.----  ----.----  ----.----

Step 4: Redstone!
Let’s make a Redstone clock.

You need 2 hoppers, one comparator and a random item.

Right click the ground with the hopper in your hand, then shift and right click the hopper that you just placed.
Then break the first hopper, shift and right click the hopper. Place the comparator so the two red things are touching the hoppers and it is pointing in to the command block. Now select the random item stand on top of the hoppers look down and click the "Q" button on your keyboard if you have done this right the comparator should start blinking. And you should be teleported to the point you chose to be teleported to.

Step 4: Decorate!
This is a thing you don't have to do but it makes it look better.
